Niagara police have arrested three people following an investigation into the sale of fentanyl from a home in Welland.
Police say their investigation focused on a male who was recently released on bail for drug and property offences.
On Friday, police seized more than $1000 worth of fentanyl from the Ontario Street home.
Three Welland residents were arrested.
Thirty-three year old Adam Fougere, 30-year-old Timothy Viletel and 29-year-old Elisabeth Fougere are facing possession and trafficking charges.
Adam Fougere and Timothy Viletel were held pending a bail hearing on January 20th, 2018 in St Catharines. Elizabeth Fougere was released with a future court date.
