Niagara Regional Police have three suspects in custody following an alleged robbery at a pharmacy in Lincoln.
Police received a 9-1-1 call Monday at 2:30 in the afternoon that the IDA on King Street was being robbed.
According to investigators, two of the three suspects were armed, one with a firearm the other an axe and managed to flee the scene in a stolen 2007 Toyota Yaris.
Following a short pursuit, police were forced to use a stop stick deflating two tires which led to a foot pursuit in a field in the area of Twenty Mile Road and Mountain Road.
Cops were able to find and arrest all three suspects while recovering stolen narcotics and weapons.
Charged with various offences are 23 year old Ryan Cannon of no fixed address, 29 year old Marek Farbar of Hamilton and 30 year old Matthew Mailhot of no fixed address.
Charges include robbery using a firearm, flight from a peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime to name a few.
All three males are being held pending a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
Police continue the investigation.
