Three men have been arrested after Niagara Police raided a home in St. Catharines.
Police say they started investigating the sale of illegal drugs in the city back in June, and searched a home on Ontario Street near Beech Street yesterday.
In total, 210 grams of suspected fentanyl and 26 grams of suspected cocaine were seized, with an estimated street value of $44,600.
In addition, detectives also recovered $2,987 believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime.
33-year-old Marcus Makhurane-Chafudzika of Richmond Hill has been arrested and charged with Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
38-year-old Peter Langridge of St. Catharines, and 48-year-old Lee Alan Walters, also from St. Catharines, are charged with Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking and• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.
