Keep the fish in the aquarium, that from scientists who are sounding the warning after finding some exotic fish in Hamilton Harbour.
On top of the plethera of goldfish in local waterways, officials say they found four tilapia fish and a type of aquarium catfish in the harbour this summer.
It's believed someone may have rescued the live tilapia from a fish market and dumped them in the harbour in an effort to free them.
Scientists say they will probably die off over the winter but note adding invasive species to our waterways can cause long term issues, as we have seen in the U-S with the battle to contain the spread of Asian carp.
