Getting your double double today at some Tim Horton's locations may be difficult.
The Ontario Federation of Labour has organized a National Day of Action in Support of Tim Hortons workers.
The OFL says the day is in response to news some Tim Hortons franchize owners have cut workers paid breaks and benefits in response to Ontario's minimum wage increase.
Rallies are being held across the country in conjunction with a group calling itself Fight for $15 and Fairness.
Pickets will be set up at more than 40 Tim Hortons locations from Nova Scotia to Vancouver to put pressure on the chain's parent company to take action to guarantee fair work for all its employees.
About 18 of the rallies are in the Toronto area, but others are planned in cities and towns including Niagara on the Lake, North Bay, Windsor, London and Kingston.
