It looks like this heat wave in Niagara this week will go down in the history books.
According to Environment Canada's website we are now sitting at 32.6 degrees in St. Catharines.
That beats the previous highest temperature recorded back in 1976 of 31.7°C.
Environment Canada will make it official once final numbers are in.
We are under a severe thunderstorm watch as a cool front will move into the region later tonight.
Tomorrow will be much more comfortable with a high of 22, feeling more like 25.
