The Blue Jays are hoping their newly laid plans for restarting training in Toronto will get the go ahead from the federal government this week.
The Jays have put forward a plan that would see players return to the city and bubble inside the hotel attached to the Rogers Centre.
The team has reportedly made some travel plans, including a chartered flight from Dunedin.
The MLB is allowing team training to resume Wednesday, but due to a worsening COVID-19 situation in Florida, the Jays are now trying to hold workouts at their home park.
