The Wynne Liberals under fire again today for failing to support manufacturers slammed with high hydro rates.
PC Energy Critic Todd Smith using the case of Kisko Freezies as an example.
Smith says Kisko, a Toronto success story, saw their hydro bills climb by $100,000 last year but he notes they don't qualify for the Liberal's rate reduction plan.
The Energy Critic asks how many more jobs are the Liberal's going to chase out of Ontario before they do something to help job creators?
Smith also took issue with an incident in Question Period last week that saw Energy Minister Glen Thibeault potentially illegally disclosed some of Kisko’s confidential energy usage billing information to the House.
He has written to the province’s Information and Privacy Commissioner to request an investigation into the matter.
