The city of Toronto will host a virtual commemoration of the Danforth Tragedy this afternoon.
Today marks the second anniversary of the shooting in the city's popular Greektown neighbourhood.
Two people, 18 year old Reese Fallon and 10 year old Julianna Kozis, were killed when the gunman opened fire.
Thirteen other people were also injured.
The gunman later died by suicide.
Toronto Mayor John Tory says 'Our city and the Danforth community continues to heal, mourn, and remember the lives that were lost. I know that together we remain #DanforthStrong."
As the @CityofToronto remembers the tragic events that took place on the Danforth two years ago, I invite Torontonians to further commemorate this tragedy through the City’s virtual commemoration at: https://t.co/Km7lV4qQS9
