Another drug bust in St. Catharines and another suspect from Toronto is under arrest.
Police moved in yesterday and arrested a suspect at the corner of Geneva and Carlton Streets after an investigation into the alleged sale of fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine throughout the city.
A search of the suspect turned up a significant amount of fentanyl, powder cocaine, and crack cocaine along with more than $2,000 in cash.
Police say the drugs have an estimated street value of more than $12,000.
21 year old Tiroune Hazel is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime.
Police note the fentanyl seized by police has a colour and consistency that is different than previous local seizures.
