The Toronto Zoo is open again but only to those with memberships.
The tourist attraction took a significant financial hit when it closed in March due ot the COVID-19 pandemic.
To offset losses the zoo launched a drive-thru “safari” in May that allowed guests to catch glimpses of the animals while adhering to COVID-19 public safety measures.
Yesterday was the first day that visitors could enter the zoo on foot, but access has been restricted to members exclusively.
The zoo says they plan to release more details shortly about when non-member can plan their visits.
