A heads up, starting December 18th new tougher drunk driving rules go into effect.
The new rules will allow police to demand a breathalyzer from any driver they stop, whether it's for running a stop sign or speeding.
The current law requires that police suspect a person has been drinking.
Opponents fear the new rules will allow for more racial profiling and are in violation of the Charter.
But Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould is confident the new measure to combat drunk driving would hold up in court if its challenged.
