The Niagara Health Coalition is planning a town hall meeting tomorrow to discuss the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Residents are invited to the Grimsby Royal Canadian Legion from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. tomorrow night to talk about the need to rebuild the hospital and secure more than $12 million to keep its two surgeries open.
Speaking about the need for a new hospital, Niagara Health Coalition co-chair Sue Hotte says, "We desperately need it. Ours is the oldest in Niagara and it serves more than 70,000 people in a very fast growing area. We are losing services such as endoscopy because the building is too old to renovate. Our surgeries are at risk of closing unless there are bandage renovations."
