Steroids have been found concealed in toys at the Queenston Lewiston Bridge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized over 1.75 pounds of steroids contained within six shipments.
Over the weekend, the warehouse at the bridge searched six shipments.
Officers found vinyl toys that contained testosterone powder and steroid liquid in the packaging.
The total weight of the steroids was over 1.75 pounds.
Originating in Canada, the shipments were headed for various destinations throughout the United States.
“Our CBP officers continue to intercept illegal substances within cargo shipments,” said Acting Port Director Sharon Swiatek. “These seizures of steroids are another example of the vigilance and commitment by our CBP officers to maintain the safety of our communities.”
