Traffic is moving along the new side of the Burgoyne Bridge.
It started moving late Friday afternoon.
Spanning over Highway 406, Twelve Mile Creek and St. Paul's Street the new Burgoyne Bridge has been under construction since 2014.
Both spans of the bridge were expected to open to pedestrian and vehicle traffic before the end of the year.
Finishing work on the project will be completed next spring.
