A 5 year old girl is dead after being struck by a vehicle in the driveway of her family home.
Niagara Regional Police say the incident happened yesterday afternoon around 1:30 in the town of Lincoln.
Investigation revealed the child was struck by a pick up truck driven by a family member.
The child was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Out of respect for the family, no names are being released.
The accident remains under investigation.
