Triple killer Dellen Millard is appealing his first-degree murder conviction and sentence for the death of his father.
He was found guilty in September of murdering his dad, Wayne Millard, whose death in 2012 was initially ruled a suicide.
Dellen Millard argues the verdict was unreasonable.
An Ontario judge sentenced Millard to serve his time consecutively on top of what he must serve for his two previous murder convictions for the deaths of Hamilton's Tim Bosma and Toronto's Laura Babcock.
Millard argues the consecutive sentence is unconstitutional.
The judge found Millard shot his father through the left eye while he was sleeping in November 2012.
