People in Puerto Rico are bracing for Tropical Storm Dorian.
Officials with the US National Hurricane Centre warn hurricane conditions are possible for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands today as the storm continues to gain power.
Dorian was tracked about 386 kilometres east-southeast of Puerto Rico this morning. Experts say it is now moving northwest at about 20 kilometres per hour.
Some people in Puerto Rico are still living under makeshift roofs made of blue tarps after the devastation of Hurricane Maria back in 2017.
Heavy rains are expected to bring flooding to parts of the islands and Florida later this week and into early next week.
