Nearing the end of a three day visit to Europe for the 75th anniversary of D-Day, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron held a joint news conference.
Trudeau and Macron touched on hot topics like climate change, extremism and online hate.
They also noted that parts of the world are falling into the shadow of right-wing nationalism.
The Prime Minister says he and his French counterpart share a similar approach when dealing with the world's pressing issues.
Trudeau suggested that while some politicians choose to capitalize on their citizens' fears, he and Macron take a more constructive approach.
