Frustrated and angry people have been reaching out to CKTB following a delay in Canada's Emergency Response Benefit payments.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is acknowledging some people relying on CERB are dealing with delays in payments today.
He appeared on a Newfoundland radio station saying they are working through the 'hiccups', and the delay is due to the program's extension.

Trudeau says they are committed to be there for Canadians and they will continue to be.

The CERB pays up to 500 dollars per week to people whose jobs or hours were cut in the COVID-19 pandemic.  The benefit was due to expire at the end of August but has been extended by four weeks.
