Twelve patients have now died in an outbreak of COVID-19 at a hospital in London.
The outbreak at University Hospital is tied to 48 cases of COVID-19 among staff and 64 in patients.
It began in a single unit on Nov. 10, and has since spread to five other parts of the hospital.
The London Health Sciences Centre, which oversees the hospital, says the ER remains open, but some admissions are being redirected to other facilities.
The health network's president says the hospital is working to keep the outbreak from growing.
That includes limiting the movement of staff and patients between different parts of the hospital and directing staff to ``work-quarantine'' -- meaning they can't have social interactions outside of work.
Today, the province moved the area into the Orange-Restrict level of the provine's pandemic framework.
