Two 15 year old boys are facing weapons charges after a lockdown at Port Colborne High School.
Niagara Regional Police were called to the school yesterday afternoon after reports that one boy was seen carrying a gun.
Police placed the school in lockdown as they searched the school and surrounding area.
Nothing was found and students were sent home.
Officers say there were no physical injuries reported.
As the investigation continued officers found a firearm outside of the school.
Two 15 year old boys are now facing charges.
The first has been charged with Possession of a Weapon, Careless use of a Firearm, and Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a licence.
The second youth has been charged with Possession of a Weapon, and Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a licence.
