Niagara police say two males forced their way into a home in the north end of Niagara Falls and demanded money and valuables from the owners.
It happened last night around 11:45 p.m.
Police say they had two long guns.
There were no injuries and the two males quickly took off from the home.
They were arrested a short time later and both guns were recovered.
Twenty-seven-year-old Jonathan Sewell of Oakville and 28-year-old Stephen Atherley of Toronto are facing a number of charges including break and enter and possession of a prohibited firearm.
Both are being held pending a bail hearing.
