Two former Hamilton paramedics charged in connection with the death of a 19-year old man will head straight to trial.
They were charged in August with failing to provide the necessaries of life.
The allegations are linked to an incident in December 2017.
Yosif Al-Hasnawi was shot after he tried to help an older man who was accosted by two men outside a mosque.
Witnesses claim the paramedics told the Brock University student he was faking his injuries.
In a rare move, the court handed down a direct indictment to the accused, which their lawyer calls 'extremely unfair.'
There will be no preliminary hearing.
Both paramedics have been fired.
