Two impaired drivers in Niagara RIDE checks

Niagara police stopped about 450 drivers during RIDE checks in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls last night.

Seven drivers were given breathalyzers,  and two were charged with impaired driving.

They received a 90-day driver's licence suspension and had their vehicles towed and seized for  seven days.

Police are reminding everyone attending a social event this holiday season,  to drink responsibly and have a plan to arrive home safely
