Over $10,000 worth of drugs have been taken off Niagara Streets after police arrested a pair of men from Toronto.
Yesterday members of the Niagara Regional Police say they saw two men conducting drug deals in Niagara Falls parking lots. Following an investigation, police caught up with the men inside a local store and arrested 21 year old Tran Sidney Nguyen and 27 year old Maurice James.
During the arrest, police also report finding 33 grams of heroin worth $9,900, 9.6 grams of cocaine worth $960, and some cash.
Nguyen faces charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin and cocaine, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, and driving while disqualified.
James has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin and cocaine, and possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000. James was also wanted by Toronto police for possession, failing to comply, and obstructing a peace officer.
Both men have bail hearing scheduled for today.
