Two men are facing charges after a series of break and enters at storage units in Niagara Falls.
Niagara Regional Police say over $30,000 in stolen property has been recovered following the investigation.
On October 12th 2017, 2 men were arrested and charged in connection with a series of break and enters into storage units in Niagara Falls.
Detectives from the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit executed a Criminal Code Search warrant and recovered some of the stolen property.
The investigation revealed that 20 people had items stolen from their storage units.
The estimated amount stolen was in excess of $30,000, from two storage unit locations in Niagara Falls.
Detectives recovered and returned over $10,000 worth of stolen property back to the victims, however, the remaining property is still outstanding.
Police believe suspects used a stolen pick-up truck to transport items that they had stolen from the storage units, also using an empty storage unit at one of the locations to store items that they had not yet been able to transport.
The investigation was assisted with video surveillance and the assistance of the owners of the storage unit locations.
47 year old Jason Perkins of Niagara Falls is facing the following 36 criminal offences, and 34 year old Guy Moore of Niagara Falls is also facing charges.
A warrant is being issued for the arrest of Moore.
