Two men have been arrested in Port Colborne after a break and enter at a rural property.
Police say on Tuesday January 7th officers were on patrol in the area of Hwy 3 and Quarry Road in the early morning hours.
The officers came across two men who were trying to charge a golf cart at a church in the area.
A subsequent investigation revealed the two men had allegedly broken into a rural property in Wainfleet earlier in the evening and stolen the golf cart and other property.
30-year-old Daniel Larocque of Welland is facing charges of break and enter and failing to comply with a probation order.
27-year-old Ryan Atyeo of Welland is facing the following charge of break and enter.
Both Larocque and Atyeo were released on an Officer in Charge Undertaking and will appear at in Court at 102 East Main Street Welland at a future date.
