Two people are waking up behind bars this morning as police investigate the sale of heroin and cocaine in the city of St. Catharines.
The pair were arrested last night around 10 p.m. as police executed search warrants as part of an investigating into mobile drug deliveries. According to police, drugs were also being sold from a local housing community.
31 year old Moses Erhirhie of Etobicoke and 21 year old Amber Woods of St. Catharines are facing several charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
During the arrests, officers seized a significant quantity of what is believed to be fentanyl laced heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, and $4,400 in cash.
On the street, the drugs are worth around $11,000.
Erhirhie and Woods are being held in custody for a bail hearing today.
