Police are looking for a suspect after two women reported being grabbed by a man in Niagara-on-the-Lake Tuesday night.
The first incident happened shortly after 8pm in the area of Niagara on The Green Boulevard and Glendale Avenue.
A woman says she was walking along a walkway towards the Outlet Mall when she was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her.
The man demanded money from the victim who was able to flee from the area and contact police.
The victim was not hurt, and no weapons were seen.
As officers were investigating, a second call for help was received at 8:30pm.
A second female victim had been walking alone when she was approached by a man.
The man physically grabbed her, she started screaming which caused the suspect to flee the area.
The suspect in the first incident is described as white, in his early 20's, wearing a black leather jacket and a burgundy toque.
The suspect from the second incident was described as being around 6 feet tall, and wearing a dark coloured hoodie and grey gloves.
It is not known at this time if these incidents are related or involved the same suspect.
Police are reminding members of the public to remain vigilant of their surroundings when walking and to take precautionary measures such as having a cell phone readily available, walking in well-lit areas and if possible walk with someone else.
