A pair of tourists from the UK say they were tossed out of a Niagara Falls hotel after joining workers striking outside the Rainforest Cafe.
The strike has been going on for just over a week as workers demand their first contract since unionizing.
Workers say recently they have had to fork over a larger portion of their tips, and there are allegations of sexual harassment at the popular tourist destination.
On Facebook, tourist Lauren Tomlinson says she and her father were kicked out of the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resorts after standing in solidarity with the workers while on holiday.
Both locations are owned by Canadian Niagara Hotels.
She claims two men followed them from the protest site to their hotel, where they were evicted.
She writes, 'If they can evict two paying customers of a hotel to attempt to silence them, imagine how they treat their workers."
