It's off to work as usual this morning for thousands of workers at Fiat-Chrysler's operations in Ontario.
Unifor and the automaker came to terms on a four-year deal just minutes before a midnight strike deadline
Union president Jerry Diaz says the agreement mirrors one reached with General Motors last month.
Workers will get wage increases, a $6,000 signing bonus, and benefit upgrades.
Chysler has also agreed to invest $325 million into its assembly plant in Brampton.
Unifor says the Fiat-Chrysler workers will vote on Sunday, and if approved, the union will immediately hold talks with Ford.
