United Way Niagara is aiming to help 120,000 people in Niagara as they launch their annual campaign.
Executive Director Frances Hallworth calls it the 'most important campaign' in the organization's history as the region continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pre-pandemic, one in three people in Niagara accessed help from a United Way funded partner agency, and that number has increased in recent months.
Three matching initiatives are in place for this year's campaign.
