UPDATE | A Niagara Falls man has been arrested on charges of making threats

An arrest has been made after Niagara Regional Police became aware of threats they believe were aimed at Saint Michael Catholic High School in Niagara Falls.
An arrest has been made after Niagara Regional Police became aware of threats made by a Niagara Falls teen.
Yesterday, officers arrested 18 year old Tanner Laroche, charging him with uttering threats. He was later released on a promise to appear.
Despite claims on social media, NRP detectives have determined there were never any direct threats to Saint Michael Catholic High School and guns were not involved.
A School Resource Officer is on site this morning.
