A young girl remains in hospital in critical condition after falling 35 feet at Decew Falls in St.Catharines.
The girl and two other friends were scaling up the falls Monday afternoon when she fell.
Rescue crews conducted a rope rescue to bring the girl out of the gorge around 4 o'clock in the aftenoon.
She suffered injuries to her back and was flown to Hamilton General Hospital.
That was the the first rescue at Decew Falls for emergency crews this year.
The girls name has not been released.
