A shocking video is making the rounds showing students fighting inside a Pelham school's washroom.
The video shows boys fighting and videotaping fights between students at Glynn A Green Elementary School on Pelham Street.
The mother of one of the boys, Joanie Jane has made the videos public on Facebook saying her son was 'jumped' in the bathroom and lured by his 'so called friends'.
She says her son was suspended for three days following the incident, even though he was the victim.
Jane says some of the boys in the video were suspended, but she says the principal decided her son arranged the whole thing.
She says that doesn't make sense at all.
Jane says her son is very nervous to go back to school and has even been threatened.
She says her grade seven son received a message saying not only would he be jumped again, but next time he will be stabbed.
The District School Board of Niagara says the outcome of the principal’s investigation was that the incident was pre-arranged by the participants.
Officials with the DSBN say there have been consequences for everyone involved, and the principal continues to review Glynn A Green’s supervision protocols, and reinforcing expectations for student behaviour.
Niagara Regional Police say the incident was reported to them on Sunday January 27th.
Officers met with a parent of one of them children involved and then went to the school to meet with staff.
Following a police investigation and discussions with the parent and school administrator, the matter was deferred to the school for the appropriate disciplinary action.
Since the video involved minors, CKTB will not be sharing it.
