The Ontario legislature resumes sitting today for the last time before the spring election.
But one high profile MPP will be missing.
Former PC Leader Patrick Brown telling CKTB's Tim Denis this morning, he won't be there.
Brown says he will be on the campaign trail and will miss the start of the session.
The 39 year old MPP was removed from the Tory caucus last week and will have to sit as an independent when he does return to the legislature.
Hours after his removal on Friday from caucus, he announced his intention to run for his old job.
Brown stepped down late last month as party leader amid sexual misconduct allegations.
Since then he has been working to clear his name.
