Staff at a rental company where a missing man from Grimsby was last spotted believe he returned his kayak before going missing.
One employee at the kayak rental says all boats are accounted for, but it's not clear if 46 year old David Martens went back into the water.
Employees say Saturday was a busy day with hundreds of people using the water park and rentals.
They also tell CKTB News there was a fire on one of the boats at Beacon's marina.
Police continue searching for Martens and have found his silver Mazda at Beacon Harbour.
His cousin Cara Whiteway has posted an emotional video to Facebook, imploring everyone along the shore to keep an eye out for him.
Members of the Coast Guard are also helping with the search effort using vessels, planes, helicopters, and underwater sonar.
Officials say water currents have mainly been northerly since Martens was last seen.
