The Ministry of Labour along with Niagara Regional Police are investigating a fatal accident in Port Colborne.
Emergency crews were called to an accident involving a transport truck at one of the local industries on Invertose Drive near Elm Street at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Fire Chief Tom Cartwright tells CKTB news it appears the driver of a truck had some sort of a medical emergency while driving.
He says fire crews had trouble getting the driver out of the vehicle, but he's since been pulled from the vehicle and taken to hospital in Welland.
The NRP say the man died in hospital.
Cartwright says the investigation into the crash is now underway.
