A McMaster student has tested negative for the coronavirus.
The student became sick after arriving home from Italy, but officials confirm today the resulsts came back negative for COVID19.
Ontario now has 15 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.
Four new cases were reported yesterday -- all of the patients having recently travelled abroad.
One had travelled to Egypt with a man who was later diagnosed with the virus, while the rest had been in Iran.
The ministry of health says, given the global circumstances, Ontario is actively planning for the potential spread of the virus.
Ontario's chief medical officer of health will be providing an update this afternoon on the COVID-19 situation.
Eight cases of the virus have also been reported in B-C, along with one in Quebec, putting the national total at 24.
