Niagara Regional Police are continuing their search for a missing 46 year old Grimsby man.
Through their investigation, police have determined that David Martens was last seen at the Beacon Hotel kayak rental in Jordan Station on Saturday afternoon.
His vehicle was found at the hotel.
It is believed he may have rented a paddle board or kayak.
The NRPS Marine Underwater Search and Recovery Unit have been working with the Canadian Coast Guard on water searches.
That search has included the use of vessels, planes, helicopters, and underwater sonar.
As weather and water conditions have been predominantly northerly, police are asking anyone walking the shoreline of Lake Ontario in the GTA to please be aware of any found paddle boards or kayaks, as they may be related to the case.
Martens is a 46 year old male described as being 5'8", approximately 168 lbs, with blue eyes and short, brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey "Oakley" T-shirt and beige cargo shorts.
If you have any information pertaining to Marten's whereabouts please contact the Niagara Regional Police Service at (905)688-4111.
