Niagara Regional police say they have received information that Kenneth MacDonald has left the Niagara Region.
The 71 year old MacDonald was reported missing Tuesday afternoon after leaving GNGH around 4:30pm.
Detectives have learned that MacDonald, who is originally from the Toronto area, is believed to be in the Kitchener Waterloo area.
The NRPS and MacDonald's family remain concerned for his welfare.
MacDonald is described as 5'7 weighing 170 lbs with grey short hair and glasses.
He was last seen wearing blue running shoes with white trim, blue casual pants, and a navy blue polo jacket with a maroon coloured shirt underneath.
It is requested that members of the public continue to report any possible sightings of MacDonald in this region, in case he has made a return.
