NRP attended the school on Monday to alleviate concerns of teachers, students and parents after threats of a Halloween bomb attack started to circulate over the weekend on social media.
Following an investigation NRP arrested and charged a 15 year old boy Monday afternoon.
Police confirm the threat was verbal in nature and occurred off school property.
They're not releasing any other details regarding the case at this time.
Meantime, Hamilton Police say an investigation has determined threats made this week to a Bishop Ryan Catholic High School were a hoax that came from outside Canada.
The calls were made to the Hamilton school yesterday and Monday threatening staff and students.
The school was evacuated yesterday and placed on lockdown Monday but police say they have determined the calls originated from the same source and were placed from outside
the country to cause panic.
They also say that although these threats were a hoax, they take such incidents extremely seriously.
