Damage from a house in Niagara Falls stands at more than $500,000, but the cause is still unknown.
It broke out around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning on Ailanthus Avenue.
Reports says 11 people were in the home sleeping at the time, but all managed to make it out safely.
The owner of the home says she was providing six college students with a place to stay until they found permanent accommodations.
Officials say the fire was a challenge to control. Two neighbouring houses were also damaged.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate because the damage is over $500,000.
