OPP have reopened the QEW heading through Stoney Creek after another pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the busy highway.
Sergeant Kerry Schmidt telling CKTB a woman was hit by a passing vehicle just before 9:30 a.m. heading Toronto bound at Fifty Rd.
The woman is said to be conscious and is being taken to hospital.
The QEW was closed briefly, but has since fully reopened.
It's not clear why the woman was on the QEW.

28 year old Adam Cherrie from St. Catharines was killed in Beamsville near the Ontario St. exit yesterday morning at 3 o'clock after being struck by a passing vehicles.
OPP tell us the three drivers who were involved in the incident have been located, and they aren't looking for additional suspects.
The investigation continues, it's not clear if charges will be laid against the drivers.
