Niagara police say a report of a suspicious person turned out to be unfounded
Niagara police say a report of a suspicious person turned out to be unfounded.
Police reported earlier that a young girl was approached by an unknown man between 35 and 60 years old in the area of Sherwood Avenue and Haig Street Sunday around 1:00 p.m.
An an investigation determined that there was no interaction with an unknown man as it was initially described to police.
Police say the matter has been cleared.
