The severe thunderstorm watch for Niagara has ended.

The severe thunderstorm watch for Niagara has ended.

Southern and Northern Niagara, including Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines, and Grimsby, were under threat of some severe weather by late afternoon.

Environment Canada warns of powerful wind gusts, torrential rain, and even possible hail.

The watch was sent out just after 9 this morning.
