A snowfall warning continues with up to 25 centimetres expected to fall in some parts of Niagara.
Environment Canada has issued the warning for North Niagara -- including St.Catharines and Grimsby with up to 25 cm -- of snow expected to fall by the overnight hours.
Forecasters say more snow is expected near the west end of Lake Ontario.
For South Niagara -- including Niagara Falls and Welland -- a Special Weather Statement continues with 10-15 cm expected to fall.
Environment Canada says snowfall amounts have been slightly higher than originally anticipated, with some areas already reporting nearly 15 cm as of 2 PM.
This snow event will be from yet another in a series of low pressure systems which have formed over the Southern Plains States.
This latest low will pass by just to the south of Lake Erie.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
