UPDATE | Special weather statement continues for Niagara

Environment Canada meteorologists are calling for significant rainfall in Niagara.
Niagara is expecting a good soaking today, but meteorolists say we'll get less rainfall than originally expected.
Environment Canada officials have updated a special weather statement for the region as a low pressure system is expected to hover over Lake Erie and New York State.
Originally we were looking at 50 mm of rain today, but experts now say our local rainfall will be more in the 15 - 30 mm range.
The showers should wrap up around midnight.
