The QEW Toronto Bound on the Burlington Skyway has reopened after a deadly crash.
A five vehicle crash around 6 a.m. this morning closed all lanes for around 6 hours while OPP investigated.
One woman, a 51 year old from Hamilton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was driving a motorcycle at the time of the crash.
OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt says with this latest crash there have been 37 motorcycle related deaths on OPP patrolled roadways - adding up to the deadliest year in a decade.
One of those 37 deaths includes 55 year old Donald Pigeon a Fort Erie father of five; he died on the 406 in Welland while riding his motorcycle back in July after colliding with an air mattress on the roadway
